WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I currently live in Northwest Indiana. My clients are coast-to-coast, with the majority located in the Midwest. I'm perfectly placed less than an hour from an international airport.

I travel monthly to serve a variety of clients in the Indianapolis area. (When my Indy clients book during a planned visit, they avoid travel fees.)

WHAT IS A MODERN HEADSHOT SESSION?

Headshot sessions are typically 60-90 minutes in length, at one location. Clients receive approximately 50 hand-touched final images. These modern headshots can be used in a variety of ways such as personalizing an “About” page on a website, in-house communication and publications, and printed marketing materials. Headshot sessions are a quick and simple solution for anyone needing updated photos. Modern Headshot Sessions start at $750 and include a complete commercial license on all deliverables.

WHAT IS A BRANDING SESSION?

Branding sessions (or Production Shoots) include everything in a headshot session, as well as branded images, actions shots, product and location photos, and more. They are typically up to 2 hours in length and can include multiple locations and style changes. These sessions are designed to provide you with images that match your brand’s style. Through a strategic process, I turn your goals, ideas, products, and services into visual examples of your brand and its values. Branding Sessions start at $1200. Final investment for this service, depends on the number of locations and employees present for the shoot.

WHY DO BRANDING SESSIONS COST MORE THAN HEADSHOT SESSIONS?

Simply put, Branding Sessions take a lot more work, time, and prep. They also yield a more comprehensive collection of images. Branding Sessions include a series of images that tell your unique story. Before the shoot, we book specific locations and gather props, clothing, and ideas to help execute a creative and succinct photoshoot. Branding Sessions are much longer than headshot sessions and can highlight various pieces of your story. One of the best parts? The pre-consultation process.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION AND PAY?

Once we’ve agreed on a date and location, I will send you an online photography agreement and invoice to finalize your booking. The contract includes the terms of our agreement and needs to be signed prior to the shoot date. Signing this document locks your date on to the shooting calendar.

An online invoice will also be sent at the time of booking, explaining the services being provided. Fees are due in full on the day of the shoot. Preferred payment is check or Venmo. Credit card transactions will be subject to a 3% fee. Any additional permits or location fees will be collected prior to the shoot date.

WHAT'S THE PRE-CONSULTATION PROCESS ALL ABOUT?

Included in all Branding coverage, this intentional meeting of the minds helps us to flesh out your goals for the shoot. Your time is money, which is why putting a plan in place prior to the shoot is key.

The pre-consultation process is a virtual or in-person meeting that will take between 1 to 1.5 hours. We’ll talk about expectations. Are you hesitant about anything? Excited about a vision? Not exactly sure what you’re looking for? No matter where you’re at, sorting this out before the shoot helps us to get on the same page.

We’ll cover preparations for the shoot: what to bring, what to wear, makeup, hair, and other ways to get ready. We’ll talk about whether or not you need to have other people join you. (For example, if you’re a realtor, we’ll set up a mock showing, so we’ll bring other people in to make it realistic.)

Finally, we’ll talk about my process. This includes an overview of how I shoot and edit based on your specific needs as well as an overview of my timeline and when you can expect your finished photos.

WHAT IS COMMERCIAL LICENSING + WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR MY BUSINESS?

Included in my Branding Sessions, Headshot Sessions, and product shoots, is a Commercial License for image use. This means you are able to download the high resolution images and use them to promote your business online, through print media, and your website. You can crop, duplicate, and reprint the images.

Restrictions for usage include selling the images for additional profit. All images should be credited to Ash Wittmer wherever possible, but especially for all print media. According to US Copyright law, as the creator, I remain the owner of the copyrights. To avoid crediting me and to have full use including copyrights, a universal, royalty free release is available for purchase.

WHY SHOULD I COMMIT TO A MONTHLY RETAINER?

Not only do monthly retainers provide you a guaranteed spot in my schedule, they also allow you the opportunity to have consistent creative and fresh content for your brand. You can relax knowing that your business will consistently have access to new content to showcase your vision and mission.

Here’s an example of what a retainer could look like: Let’s say you’re a food blogger. Our first month we can use a kitchen backdrop to show how you look and cook in your domain. Next month, we’ll shoot a series of recipe and dish creations. The following month, we’ll book a shoot at your favorite restaurant. Over the course of just three months you already have hundreds of unique, curated, and brand-specific images that you can use for social media posts, publications, blogging, websites, and more! Retainers make it easier for you to reach your business goals.
